A Key Appointment in a Major Scientific Context
This appointment comes during the 152nd Annual Meeting of the SEQ, which will take place on November 20–21, 2025, at Université Laval, under the theme:
“Entomology: A Vector of Knowledge”
This theme highlights the role of insects as vectors of pathogens and parasites, as well as their impacts on crops, forests, and human and animal health. In a context where the risks associated with vector-borne diseases are increasing, prevention and research are more essential than ever.
Congratulations to Richard Trudel
This recognition reflects his exceptional commitment to research and the advancement of entomology in Quebec. It aligns perfectly with GDG Environnement’s mission: to provide scientific and innovative solutions for mosquito management, public health protection, and the preservation of natural environments.
