GDG Environment Strengthens Biological Pest Control Leadership with Addition of Renowned Entomologist Richard Trudel, Ph.D.
GDG Environnement, already acknowledged as a leader in biological pest control, has further fortified its scientific team by welcoming Richard Trudel, Ph.D., an experienced entomologist, as a full-time Scientific Advisor and Expert Entomologist.

Solid Entomology Background: Richard Trudel, boasting an impressive nearly 25-year career in entomology, brings unparalleled expertise to GDG Environment. Holding a Ph.D. in entomology, he has held management positions in companies specializing in controlling biting insects using biological larvicides.
Previous Collaboration with GDG: From 2017 to 2021, Mr. Trudel played a crucial role in a major research project in collaboration with the GDG team. His expertise was particularly notable in the homologation process of an innovative biological control device against the emerald ash borer, the Fraxiprotec.
Contributions to Research and Development Projects: Beyond his involvement in major projects, Mr. Trudel has led efforts to improve mosquito traps, providing an alternative and complementary method to using larvicides. His experience as a researcher in entomology at the Society for the Protection of Forests against Insects and Diseases (SOPFIM) involved setting up experimental devices to document the impact of new biological control methods.
